Alexander Donnaloja
I am a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS). I have extensive experience working with individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges.
In addition to running my private practice, I work as a Highly Specialised Psychotherapist in an NHS service dedicated to the early prevention and treatment of people at risk of developing serious mental illnesses such as psychosis and bipolar. Before my current role, I worked in various NHS services, including Talking Therapy Services and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). I can therefore skilfully adapt therapy for neurodiverse and LGBTQ+ clients, and other marginalised groups.
I trained as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist (Postgraduate Dip.) and in Psychology with Counselling (BSc Hons) by leading NHS professionals and acadmics at the University of Reading and the Open University.

Accreditations
What do these accreditations mean?
The British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), is the UK’s leading organisation for CBT and the recognised accrediting body by the NHS, prestigious private healthcare institutions and private insurers.
“Accreditation with the BABCP means that a CBT therapist has both core professional mental health training or recognised equivalent, as well as specific CBT training. To be accredited, our members must have applied and demonstrated that they meet high standards of training and experience in CBT”.
